Meet Dr. Punjabi

Nisha E. Punjabi, DDS

My highest priorities are to provide high quality, gentle dental care for my patients in a welcoming, friendly environment. I want my patients to enjoy their dental appointments! My staff and I go out of our way to make each person feel right at home, and I love the personal connections I make with my patients. Each person is unique, and I enjoy discovering what they need and want at every appointment.

Education and Continuing Education

I completed my Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Michigan before continuing on to the University of Michigan Dental School, where I earned my DDS. After graduation, I completed my general practice residency at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland.

I love dentistry, and am always looking for new professional courses and seminars to partake in. Right now, my focus is expanding my knowledge of new and effective conscious sedation techniques, cosmetic dentistry, and mini-implants. I always want to provide our patients with the most effective and comfortable dental experience possible, and my continuing education helps me ensure the best dental care.

In the Practice

In my work, I want each patient to keep their beautiful, healthy smiles for a lifetime. That is why I always look at the whole mouth, not just a problem area. I want to make sure I know their overall health and every possible issue that may occur. When I take care to treat long-term problems rather than immediate ones, my patients are happier and more comfortable in their lives. I want them to know what is happening in their bodies, and how to maintain their dental care at home.

When a patient comes in my office happy and looking forward to their visit, I know I’ve done my job well. I enjoy helping each patient have a wonderful dental experience, and want them to relax, knowing they can always count on the most advanced comprehensive care in our office. My husband and I are proud of the services we provide, and we are grateful for the trust our patients have in us.

Our staff here is truly exceptional. They always bring excitement and energy to the office, and our patients really appreciate that. We make it our priority for every team member to get to know all of our patients on a personal level. For us, dentistry is not just about the teeth; it's about personal connections with the people in our community.

Family and Community

I grew up in Cambridge, and am raising my family in Avon. My husband is Dr. Gupta, and we have two kids, Sabina and Arjun. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, exercising, cooking, and yoga.

My husband and I enjoy giving back to our community, and we are involved in several of the health fairs in and around North Ridgeville, such as the middle school health fair, the high school health fair, the Bendix health fair, and the 3M health fair. My husband and I also volunteer at the Cleveland Free Clinic, helping patients who cannot afford dental care.
